Parques Aquáticos - Water Parks
There are several water parks in Portugal. In the Algarve, they find the highest concentration of them. Summer is synonymous with water, swimming and fun and Vicente has been asking us for a long time. It was this year!
Of course, we had some fears, considering tells us what we are going through, but the father went a few days earlier with friends to make sure it was safe. Even just for that (Hahahaha!) ...
Que parque escolher?
Which park to choose?
We went to Sliden Splash.
The truth is that there was also not a lot of open parks, but we already knew and recommended them.
In the Algarve, in addition to Slide & Splash, we also highlight Aquashow. The park is closed, but the first indoor water park on the Iberian peninsula is being prepared. It will work all year and is expected to be completed later this year.
Optamos por usar nos meninos fatos de banho de manga comprida com proteção UV.
When to go?
We chose the least hot and overcast day of the vacation. The park is open air and it is difficult not to be exposed to the sun in the hot hours. But we also don't recommend cold days because being wet all day without heat is very unpleasant.
We chose to use long-sleeved swimsuits with UV protection for the kids.
There are usually a series of points of sale where you can buy tickets, but at this time, to ensure that, at most, they will have half the maximum capacity, you must contact the park to find out if they will have vacancies for the day they want.
